Tamaqua Street Paving

 

Several streets in Tamaqua will be milled and paved starting on June 29.

Barker & Barker Paving of Bethlehem will be paving streets in the Dutch Hill and North Ward neighborhoods of Tamaqua next week from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., weather permitting. The streets to be paved include sections of East Elm Street, Market Street, Pitt Street, West Elm Street, Nescopec Street and Clay Street.

Parking will be prohibited in the work areas and the streets will be closed to traffic during the construction. Drivers are encouraged to avoid these areas, if possible. Drivers should also expect delays and allow for additional travel time.
