PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Zoning Hearing Board of the Borough of Tamaqua will conduct a hearing virtually using the ZOOM platform at 8:00 p.m. immediately following the planning commission meeting on Monday, December 14, 2020 to consider the following items:

  1. The applicant is Tamaqua Patel Property LLC, Tamaqua PA. The submitted application requests a variance to section 805, and Section 1642 of The Eastern Schuylkill Planning Region Zoning Ordinance (ESPR). The property is located at 20 Center Street Tamaqua PA 18252, Tax Parcel ID #65-12-0261.000. The applicant requests relief of The Eastern Schuylkill Planning Region Ordinance (ESPR) to allow the proposed Convenience Store and Gas Station to operate on a lot less than 1 acre, Increase impervious coverage over allowable limits, construct structures in required setbacks and operate with reduced parking G-C Zoning District.

IMPORTANT: Due to the current statewide emergency declaration, and in accordance with Act 15 of 2020, personal appearances at this hearing are not permitted.
